Our Pastors
Ian McConnell serves as pastor for preaching and vision. One of Ian's main shepherding responsibilities at Grace is the proclamation of the Word. He also provides oversight and direction for the pastoral team in carrying out our vision to display God's glory through the gospel as a community of believers in Northeast Philadelphia. Ian also leads Urban Imperative, a ministry with a vision to gather, equip, launch, and support gospel-centered church planting teams in the city. Ian and his wife Rachel have three children and live in the neighborhood of Bustleton in Northeast Philly. Ian would appreciate any advice for how to convince his wife that a dog is a great idea! Walter Grummt serves as the elder for senior care and leads a care group on Tuesday's (see calendar). Walt and his wife Roberta have eleven grandchildren and live in the Belmont Hills area of Bucks County.

Tom and his wife Karen were born and raised as lifelong residents of Philadelphia and have been involved in urban ministry for over 20 years. Tom has a passion for preaching the Word of God and seeing God's people grasp the Word and be changed by it. Currently Tom is pleased to serve as the pastor for family life ministries at Grace Bible Church. Tom and his wife Karen have 4 wonderful children; Ally (married to Jon Sorensen), Tommy (married to Beth), Shannon, and Seth. They also have 1 incredibly beautiful grandson (Haydn) and a dog named Pudge (whom Tom wishes would just go away). GO EAGLES!!!

Danny and his wife Becky joined the Grace family in the summer of 2007 as pastor for children's ministries. Danny grew up in New Jersey and was led by the Lord to attend Bible college in Wisconsin where he earned a B.A. in youth ministries and then was led of the Lord to Virginia Beach where he completed an M.Div. Danny and his wife have a passion to see the gospel lived and preached at Grace. Currently Danny is responsible for the nurseries and grace4kids ministries. Danny and Becky have one daughter, Abigail Faith, and are expecting their second child in February. Danny adn Becky live in Mayfair.

In 2007, Rob began serving as part of the pastoral team at Grace. As Pastor for Music and Biblical Education, his responsibilities include shepherding Grace’s musicians and overseeing the Grace Institute. He especially enjoys seeing and experiencing how God saves and changes sinners through the gospel. Rob and his wife Stephanie have been entrusted by God with two children, Anna Grace and Bobby.
